Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2025

At BuildExperiences, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This notice explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

BuildExperiences is a technical product studio brand operated by Digidrop Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. We help founders and businesses turn ideas into properly architected, production-ready digital products.

Digidrop Ltd is the data controller for personal information collected through the BuildExperiences website (buildexperiences.app and related pages). You can read more about Digidrop at digidrop.io .

2. What data we collect

We may collect and process the following types of information:

  • Contact and enquiry details - such as your name, work email address, company or project name, and the message you send when you use our project enquiry form, including optional fields about project stage, areas where you need help, budget range, and timeframe.
  • Security and anti-abuse data - when you submit the enquiry form, Google reCAPTCHA v3 may process technical signals (for example device and interaction data) to help distinguish legitimate submissions from abuse. We receive a verification result from Google, not the full detail of that analysis.
  • Technical data - IP address, browser type, request timestamps, and similar information in standard web server and application logs when you browse the site or submit a form.

We do not ask you to create an account on this website, and we do not knowingly collect special category personal data through the enquiry form.

3. How we use your information

We use personal data to:

  • Respond to project enquiries and follow up on conversations you start with us.
  • Operate, secure, and maintain the website and enquiry process (including spam prevention).
  • Improve our website, content, and how we present our services.
  • Comply with legal or regulatory obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims where necessary.

Our lawful bases under UK GDPR typically include your consent (where you submit the form), steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business and website, balanced against your rights.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We keep cookie use on this site minimal.

  • Strictly necessary - our hosting and application stack may use cookies or similar storage needed for security, load balancing, or core delivery of the site. These do not require consent under UK rules.
  • reCAPTCHA - when the enquiry form is enabled, Google reCAPTCHA may set cookies or use similar technologies. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to that processing.

We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies on this website. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent before non-essential cookies are set.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, any on-site preference tools.

5. How long we keep your data

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes above, or as required by law. Enquiry records are typically kept for a reasonable period so we can manage our relationship with you, refer back to your project details, and maintain accurate business records. Server logs are kept for a shorter, security-focused retention period unless we need them longer to investigate an incident.

6. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data.

We use trusted processors who handle data on our instructions and under appropriate contracts, including:

  • Resend - to deliver enquiry notifications by email.
  • Google - to provide reCAPTCHA verification on the enquiry form.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers - to run and secure the website and API that receives form submissions.

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses) as applicable.

We may also disclose information when required by law, court order, or regulatory request, or when necessary to protect our rights, users, or the security of our services.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you may have rights including access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability, depending on the circumstances. You also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

You can lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the UK if you are concerned about how we handle your data.

To exercise your rights, please contact us using the details below.
